The Kazahaya Dojo teaches unarmed and weapon martial arts techniques for true case self-defense, all rooted in traditional Japanese martial arts. As an internationally certified branch of the Genbukan World Ninpo Bugei Federation, Dojo-cho Louis Skriba will instruct you in these proven centuries old techniques that are still useful in our 21st century world. 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM	Letterboxing Club - Letterboxing Club Explore nature, socialize, create, solve clues and contribute to the fun! Letterboxing is a 175-year-old cross-continental hobby that involves "hiding" boxes in nature for other hobbyists to find - and finding boxes that have been hidden by others. A website is used to coordinate hiding and searching. Hobbyists leave their "signature" with a unique (often hand-made) stamp and return the box to its original hiding place. Letterboxing is family friendly with unlimited options for exploring. More people participating in our area means more clues and boxes to find!   Letterboxing Club meets one time per month to learn about the history and guidelines, create materials, share resources, and learn how to use the AtlasQuest clue sharing website. Some meetings may include field trips to search for or "hide" letterboxes.    There is no cost to participate but members may be asked to provide supplies or a small fee to cover the cost of materials to create log books, stamps and boxes during meetings. CIT’s will join one of our popular summer camps to work with RPD camp staff and learn the skills necessary to be a successful counselor, while enjoying a camp experience of their own.These programs are eligible for scholarship assistance.Registration will open February 21 for Ridgeville residents, and February 24 for non-Ridgeville residents.
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM	Art & Adventure Camp for Rising Grades 4-7 - After Care Week 1 (4-7) Session I Dates: June 9-July 3 (NO CAMP June 19 or July 4) Session II Dates: July 7-August 1 Day/Time: Mon-Fri, 9 am-4 pm (extended care available) Location: Ridgeville Park, 908 Seward St.  Art & Adventure Summer Camp encourages children to engage in arts & crafts projects, drama, music and dance, while also making time for field games, sports and other traditional camp activities. The camp will be shaped by the interests and abilities of all camp participants to ensure that a wide range of projects emerge throughout the summer. Projects might include everything from comic book making to collaborative painting to filming original stories. The camp will culminate with an open house that will be held at the end of each session. The event gives caregivers and friends the opportunity to meet Camp Directors, counselors, and celebrate the talent and achievements of the campers.These programs are eligible for scholarship assistance.

Ridgeville can help. You can grow your own vegetables and fruits in your own garden plot at the Elks Park Community Garden. We provide the tilled beds and water, you do the rest. Rent your plot for the season (March through November) for one low fee. We offer the option to Share the Harvest by donating excess produce to the Community Fridges. Plots are limited.Please Note: The plots are currently on a wait list. The registration link below is ONLY for approved renters. If you have not been marked as an approved renter by the administration, then you will not be able to register. 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM	Family Gardening - June 14 Join us in learning about and caring for a variety of edible and native plants in our Children’s Nature Garden this season! Each month, we’ll explore the garden, tend to the growing plants, participate in nature based activities in the garden and create new interactive aspects of the garden.
