News: All About Elks Park Community Playground Build September 22-24

We need you! Join us September 24 at Elks Park for a once-in-a-lifetime community build with KABOOM!, Discover, and Ridgeville Park District! In just ONE DAY*, we’ll turn an empty corner in Elks Park into an incredible new playspace for south Evanston kids. No tools or skills required- we’ll provide everything you need (plus breakfast, lunch and water)!

Elks Park, 301 Callan Ave. (corner of Callan and Mulford), Evanston

* Prep Days:
Monday and Tuesday,
September 22 and 23
8 am-4 pm

Build Day:
Wednesday, 9/24
8 am-3 pm
half-day shifts available

Volunteer Jobs
Light duty: sorting parts, serving food, painting signs
Medium duty: Assembling playground pieces, planting
Heavy duty: Digging, concrete mixing, structure installation
