We seek to create a safe space for people to begin or to deepen a meditation practice and to connect with others along the way. This is a non-sectarian meetup and all people are welcome to participate, regardless of background or beliefs. At each gathering, following a brief introduction, we enter a period of silence-usually twenty minutes. During the silence, participants are welcome to sit on a yoga mat, chair, rolled up blanket, or something they have brought from home. After the silence, participants are welcome to leave or to stay for a time of conversation and tea. We seek to create a safe space for people to begin or to deepen a meditation practice and to connect with others along the way. This is a non-sectarian meetup and all people are welcome to participate, regardless of background or beliefs. At each gathering, following a brief introduction, we enter a period of silence-usually twenty minutes. During the silence, participants are welcome to sit on a yoga mat, chair, rolled up blanket, or something they have brought from home. After the silence, participants are welcome to leave or to stay for a time of conversation and tea. We seek to create a safe space for people to begin or to deepen a meditation practice and to connect with others along the way. At each gathering, following a brief introduction, we enter a period of silence-usually twenty minutes. During the silence, participants are welcome to sit on a yoga mat, chair, rolled up blanket, or something they have brought from home. We use a website to coordinate hiding and searching. Letterboxers leave their "signature" with a unique (often handmade) stamp and return the box to its original hiding place. We seek to create a safe space for people to begin or to deepen a meditation practice and to connect with others along the way. This is a non-sectarian meetup and all people are welcome to participate, regardless of background or beliefs. At each gathering, following a brief introduction, we enter a period of silence-usually twenty minutes. During the silence, participants are welcome to sit on a yoga mat, chair, rolled up blanket, or something they have brought from home. After the silence, participants are welcome to leave or to stay for a time of conversation and tea.
