Trot for Tails is a tail-wagging community event presented in partnership by the Evanston Animal Shelter and the Ridgeville Park District.
Join us on Saturday, July 11, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm for a morning of walking, activities, and community fun—all in support of our furry friends.
From 9:00 to 10:00 am, participants can begin the Parks Walk from one of three starting locations. Each walker will receive a special event map, or “Pawsport,” to guide them to all 10 parks throughout the Ridgeville Park District. Along the way, participants can collect swag, enjoy crafts and activities, and stop for water breaks.
Beginning at 10:00 am, the celebration continues at Ridgeville Park with a community party open to all. Enjoy sponsor booths, family-friendly activities, live music, and freshly grilled hot dogs.
Whether you complete the Parks Walk, support by fundraising for Evanston Animal Shelter, or simply join us for the festivities, Trot for Tails is a fun way to connect with neighbors and support the animals of Evanston. Come out and help us make a difference—one pawprint at a time!
