  • FREE West African Drum Class Demo
    • Want to learn how to play the djembe? Our drum students will show you the ropes from 10:30-11:30 am!
  • Recyclable Arts & Crafts 
    • Nature bracelets!
    • Paper flowers & owls!
    • Cardboard binoculars for bird watching!
  • Drop-off location for plastic containers
  • Biggest bag of trash contest 
    • Walk the parks & neighborhood and collect trash. The person with the biggest bag will win a $25 gift certificate to YoFresh!
  • Info Table & Freebies
    • Stickers!
    • Snacks!
  • Wood chipping the Ridgeville Garden
    • This one is for the adults who want to get their hands dirty!
Children's Nature Garden, Tot Lot East of Kamen East Park, 10:30 am-Noon
  • Ribbon-cutting Ceremony 
    • Come celebrate our newly minted Children's Nature Garden and learn about all the fun things planned for this hidden gem! 
  • Family Gardening
    • Planters!
    • Pine cone birdseed feeders!

    • Wood chipping (for the adults)!
