Youth Grow Team

Youth Grow TeamTHANK YOU to our 2024 Youth Grow Team for all their hard work!

The Youth Grow Team works from the beginning of June through the first week of August growing produce for donation (and to take home!) through our Urban Agriculture Program right here at Ridgeville Park District. Teens also learn basic and intermediate job skills development, leadership skills and environmental as well as social impacts of urban gardening, food sustainability and topics of the team's curiosities. The program runs in partnership with the City of Evanston's Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program (MSYEP).
