Art & Adventure Camp for Rising Grades K-3 - Session I
Designed for rising grades K-3. Art & Adventure Summer Camp encourages children to engage in arts & crafts projects, drama, music and dance, while also making time for field games, sports and other traditional camp activities. The camp will be shaped by the interests and abilities of all camp participants to ensure that a wide range of projects emerge throughout the summer. Projects might include everything from comic book making to collaborative painting to filming original stories. The camp will culminate with an open house that will be held at the end of each session. Art & Adventure Camp for Rising Grades K-3 - Session II
Designed for rising grades K-3. Art & Adventure Summer Camp encourages children to engage in arts & crafts projects, drama, music and dance, while also making time for field games, sports and other traditional camp activities. The camp will be shaped by the interests and abilities of all camp participants to ensure that a wide range of projects emerge throughout the summer. Projects might include everything from comic book making to collaborative painting to filming original stories. The camp will culminate with an open house that will be held at the end of each session. The event gives caregivers and friends the opportunity to meet Camp Directors, counselors, and celebrate the talent and achievements of the campers.Session I Dates: June 8 - July 3 (NO CAMP June 19)Session II Dates: July 6-31 Day/Time: Mon-Fri, 9 am-4 pm (extended care available) Location: Kamen East Park, 1111 South Blvd. These programs are eligible for scholarship assistance.Please Note: Single-week registration options will be made available in May if space allows. Youth Soccer - Soccer BOTH DAYS
Designed for ages 4-6 (all gender)Dates: June 9-July 30 (8 weeks) Days/Time: Tuesday and/or Thursdays from 4:30-5:30pm Location: Kamen East Park, 1111 South Blvd. Soccer is a popular activity for Ridgeville Park District in the summertime. Players will learn skills and drills, scrimmage, and enjoy some water activities to cool down on the extra hot days. As with all things Ridgeville, we will wrap the season with a pizza party. Players are asked to wear tennis shoes and shin guards as needed. We provide nets and balls. These programs are eligible for scholarship assistance.
